Wrestling junior captain Tommy Iasiello won the Section 1 Division 1 championship in the 145-lb weight class a few days after reaching 100 career wins, while senior captain Matthew Hill took second in the Section 1 Division 1 championship in the 190-lb weight class, capping the season with an impressive 36-5 record.
Boys Basketball junior captain Jake Sussberg
had an outstanding week, averaging 20 points
and 7.5 rebounds per game in the last three
games.
Ski Team sophomore and rookie Stella Van Arsdale won the A League Slalom Auto Qualifier in mid-January at Mohawk Mountain out of a field of 35 and followed that up with a second place finish in an A League race out of a field of 44 at Thunder Ridge and another win a few days later at Thunder Ridge out of a field of 50 racers.
Indoor Track sophomore Leia Patel recently won the county championship and broke the school record in the 1000 meters.

Girls Varsity cross country had a strong weekend, coming out victorious in a 13-team field meet.
Boys Varsity Soccer senior goalie Lucas Kantor had three shutouts in a three-win week over rival Mamaroneck, John Jay East Fishkill, and Mount Vernon.
Girls Soccer junior Mia Laboy scored the golden goal in double overtime to beat rival New Rochelle and added another goal in a win over Clarkstown North.
Boys Soccer junior Lorenzo Galeano led the team to victory over two rivals with a goal in a 3-0 win over Mamaroneck and both goals in a 2-1 win over New Rochelle.
SHS Boys Tennis won the League Championship, Section Championship, and NYS Regional Championship, reaching the NYS semi-finals and finishing #2 in New York State.
Boys Lacrosse overcame a 9-4 fourth quarter deficit to defeat Shenendehowa 10-9 to win a second consecutive NYS East Regional Championship, complementing their third straight Section 1 Class A Championship.
SHS swimmers set three School Records at States: 200 Individual Medley (Aidan Lee); Medley Relay (A. Lee, Kieran Lee, Harrison Lambert, Kevin Jiang); and 400 Freestyle (Lambert, Bryan Manheimer A. Lee, Jiang). With Avi Stahl and Diver Haochen Lui (5th place in NYS), SHS amassed the fourth highest point total of all NY State high schools.
